STANCE of a MUSLIMAH

Our Lord! You truly know all that we may hide in our hearts as well as all that we bring into the open, for nothing whatsoever, be it on earth or in heaven, remains hidden from Allah. {Quran, 14:38}

He Said It

A man of wisdom dedicating his life to teach humanity the purpose of life...to worship God alone. Life itself is worship, not jus the actual rituals of prayer. Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon him) was the best in all areas a person can be. His teachings are simple and make sense, but many of us do not follow his footsteps. These sayings of his are a few points to the philosphy and reality of Islam. I got them from a calandar that was lying on the side table in my living room. It's called Al-Anwar Calandar: 2005 with the authentic sayings related by the most authentic source (Bukhari).. So check them out below.

"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not hurt his neighbor..."

"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet."

"It is not lawful for a Muslim to dessert his fellow Muslim for more than three days. When meeting, one turns his face against the other, while the best of the two is the one who starts greeting the other."

"A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue or his hands."

"Truthful leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise."

"The signs of a hypocrite are three: whenever speaks he tells a lie, whenever promises he breaks his promise, and whenever entrusted he betrays."

"The strong is not the one who overcomes the people with his strength, but the one who controls himself while in anger."

"Make things easy for others; not difficult. Make people comfortable (with good tidings), and do not repulse them..."

It is indeed important to read the sayings of the Prophet, since he was known to speak little, yet what he spoke would have so much meaning and wisdom. Like little pearls of knowledge. But there's a lot of inauthentic sayings out there so you have to be careful, especially with emails.
